# GS2-Ranking2 API Reference

Ranking feature

Implements rankings for scores and clear times.

GS2-Ranking2 provides global, cluster, and subscribe rankings.

- Global rankings update immediately and retain only the top 1,000 players; scores below that range are treated as unranked.
- Cluster rankings create a separate ranking for each cluster ID, such as a guild ID. They can verify that the player belongs to the target cluster before accepting a score.
- Subscribe rankings build a personalized board from players the user subscribes to, making them suitable for friend rankings and other asymmetric relationships. Updates are asynchronous and normally appear within about one second.

Rankings can be associated with GS2-Schedule events as seasons.
Each repeated event creates a new season, preserves previous results, and can grant rewards according to ranking thresholds.
